I like to explore the moments between interaction, the shirt waiting to be worn or recently discarded, the chair in a room waiting to be occupied and now because of our need to isolate — the emptiness of our cities' infrastructures. The certainty of the overpass structure is undeniable, solid in its purpose. The road beckons to other destinations, the patch of iridescent DayGlo green desperately wanting to get noticed, while three small clouds dance through a turbulent, swirling sky. An icon of movement now lies still, waiting to resume its function. Throughout history when people are absent, things always remain to bear witness.
