Chemise

Acrylic on wood with a wood aging wash. Here I explored layers of transparent whites with blocks of pale aquamarine to give lightness to this simple garment. A shirt waiting to be worn or recently discarded? These simple things surround us in silence, I find beauty in their form when we take the time to notice them.
