The black line is what pulls all the elements of my work together but I'm always looking for a bridge to create something that is more. This was my first piece using wire for the black line, not only does the wire play the cohesive role of the black line but it adds another dimension to the work and an interplay of ghost lines that change with the light. The use of DayGlo orange for the jacquard pattern creates a visually unexpected contrast between traditional and modern.
